CHIP Wellness/Weight Loss Challenge 2023
This is the 11th year of the CHIP Wellness/Weight Loss/Walking Challenges. The goal of the Challenge is to improve healthy eating and increase physical activity for people who live, work and attend school in Bergen County. Free and reduced-cost fitness, nutrition, and wellness programs and classes will be offered. Find your towns challenge below!

"Living Healthy Journey"

The 2023 "Living Healthy Journey" will change your mindset to bring health, wellness, fitness, and nutrition into your everyday life.

$40.00 Registration Fee

*All registered participants will have access to multiple fitness programs and nutritional education throughout the FLOW area with all "Living Healthy Journey" partners

The Challenge is sponsored by the Community Health Improvement Partnership’s Nutrition and Physical Activity Task Force and local health officers.

The Challenges align with the Mayors Wellness Campaigns and offer free and reduced-cost fitness and wellness education opportunities. The Challenge varies from town to town with some offering weekly weigh-ins and others offering walking programs.

The programs are supported through partnerships of some local health departments, The Valley Hospital, Holy Name Medical Center, town councils, fitness centers, supermarkets, YMCAs, community organizations and other local businesses and will run for 8-12 weeks.

This campaign supports positive changes in diet, exercise, and overall health. For general information contact Marla Klein at mklein@co.bergen.nj.us
