Safety, Tips & Warm Up
As summer approaches, please be mindful of safety and certain protocols when it comes to getting the best of your fitness experience with us. Some tips, tricks, and requirements are as follows:
Outdoor Training Safety Tips
Taking your workout to the great outdoors is always a hoot and can bring a lot of fun and variety to your workouts. However, please be mindful of the following caveats:
Do not train outside when it's above 85°F
This can increase your risk of heat stroke and dehydration.
Apply sunscreen before going outdoors
Please use sunscreen on any areas of exposed skin during hours of peak sun if training outside.
Be mindful of pavement temperature
Pushups on hot pavement can result in burns on the skin, for example.
Make sure you stay hydrated
Please make sure you have water or electrolytes handy.
Wear the right gear for the right activity
Make sure your dressed appropriately to ensure your safety!
