"Get Help!"

The Bergen County Cooperative Library System serves 61 libraries in Bergen County. The libraries and their staff provide resources. The new initiative, "Get Help!" will assist with questions concerning financial resources, parental resources, health resource, etc.

Access to Health Care Task Force

The Access to Health Care Task Force is working to increase access to health care for all; regardless of ability to pay. The objectives are to facilitate the submission of applications to NJ FamilyCare and co-sponsor enrollment events. Also task force members publicize other avenues of health care including clinics in Hackensack and Garfield, health fairs and screenings. The task force partners with HMOs, schools, community colleges, universities and organizations to co-sponsor educational conferences and workshops concerning wellness and disease prevention and management.
